To enable a power supply to be loaded as necessary without necessity to manually operate the power supply arranged inside a power supply cylinder by providing a circuit switch outside the cylinder and adding an activation device which can come into contact with the cylinder and also can be separated from the cylinder, to the cylinder.
On a cylinder 1, electrically operable register pins 2.1, 2.2 are provided in such a state that the pins 2.1, 2.2 are electrically insulated with the cylinder 1 or the chucking rail of a printing start part. Consequently it is possible to check with the register pins 2.1, 2.2 whether a metal printing plate is mounted as correctly as registered, in the same manner as a circuit switch 5 is activated. A device for opening/closing the pins 2.1, 2.2 or a sensor means is connected to and activated with an analytical device 4 provided on the cylinder 1 as a current consumption device. This analytical device 4 is connected to a current feed device 3 formed as a cell or a rechargeable storage battery through the circuit switch 5 formed as a key. Further the circuit switch 5 comes into contact with the cylinder 1 and is activated by an activation device 6 which can be separated from the cylinder 1.
