Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the pressure on the supplying side from being unnecessarily built up by a method wherein the amount of oil discharged into a tank when a piston is cushioned at its stroke end is restricted to proof the pressure and reduce the flow of high pressure oil on the supplying side. CONSTITUTION:When moving a piston 2 to the right with a directional control valve 17 set at the position shown in the drawing, the total amount of oil first flows from a pump 34 to the side chamber 7 of the piston. Next, if a protrusion 4 is thrusted into a flux detecting portion 6, there occurs a pressure difference between the front and rear sides of the flux detecting portion 6, and the flowing pressure from a port 14 becomes higher than that from a port 10. Therefore, a spool 23 resisting a spring 29 moves to choke ports 11, 13. Thus, the amount of oil returning to a tank 35 is restricted, while the pressure on the cushion side is raised. In addition, since the port 11 is choked, the oil flowing from the pump 34 to the side chamber 7 of the piston is reduced.
