Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain cutting quality of a movable blade without taking much labor.
SOLUTION: The cutting device 11 cuts paper by moving the movable blade 19 to a cutting position within the moving range so as to be engaged with a fixed blade 14 to be slid. Polishing members 26 and 29 are disposed on a moving raceway of the movable blade 19 provided in a slidable position, and slid on the movable blade 19 so as to polish the movable blade 19. The movable blade 19 is moved to be slid between the polishing members 26 and 29, thereby being polished with the polishing members 26 and 29 to restore the sharpness of the movable blade 19.
