To provide a cutup device for a metal wire with a coating material for automatically and easily cutting up the coating material coating the periphery of the metal wire and turning it to a form to be easily recovered and recycled.
This device for cutting up the coating material 20 of the metal wire 10 in a longitudinal direction is provided with a rotary blade 12 for cutting up the coating material, a top plate 13 provided with an opening oblong hole 33 from which the rotary blade 12 is projected where the metal wire is to be mounted, a press roller 14 for pressing the mounted metal wire from an upper side, a clip 15 attached to the tip of the metal wire 10 exposed from the coating material, a motor M1 for rotating the rotary blade 12, a motor M2 for elevating and lowering a base to which the rotary blade is attached, and an electric circuit 50 for making a current flow to the motor M1 for rotation and the rotary blade, driving them, driving the elevating and lowering motor M2, elevating the rotary blade together with the base and stopping the elevating and lowering motor when the current flows among the rotary blade, the metal wire and the clip by the rotary blade cutting up the coating material and being abutted to the metal wire by being elevated.
