PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper capable of stabilizing torque, and a manufacturing method of the damper.SOLUTION: A damper 10 comprises: a storage body 20 in which an outer cylindrical part 21 and an inner cylindrical part 22 formed into a cylindrical shape are arranged concentrically, and the lower ends of the cylindrical parts are linked with each other at a bottom part 23, an opening end part 24 is formed at the upper end of the outer cylindrical part 21, and a groove part 27 is formed in an inner periphery; and a lid body 30 that includes a rotor 31 inserted from the opening end part 24 and stored in the storage body 20, and in which a projection part 33 engaged to the groove part 27 is formed. In the vicinity on the side of the groove part 27 in the outer cylindrical part 21, a thin wall part 28 is formed so as to be thinner than the outer cylindrical part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
