PURPOSE: To make it unnecessary to form an access program for a table registered by a user in each registration by automatically forming an access program for a relational data table.

CONSTITUTION: A terminal program started by specifying 'register' on the menu screen of a terminal 2 inputs a table format generated on a floppy disk(FD) 3 by a multiplan. The inputted table format is transferred to a host 1 as a file and a center program analyzes the table format, converts the analyzed result into a relational data base(RDB) registering table 14a and then registers the converted result in the RDB of the host 1. An access program 15a corresponding to the constitution of the registering table 14a is generated and registered based upon the analytical result of the format. A management table 16a indicating correspondence between registered table names and formed/registered access program names is also formed.
