Abstract:
PURPOSE: To retrieve a part where an existing place is vague at high speed from a mass storage electronized document with a simple operation.
CONSTITUTION: An area storing the value of a pointer showing the position of the document displayed on a screen is provided in a storage device. When an operator views the document which is displayed this time, judges that the target document is in front and operates a key, the value of the nearest pointer in a front position is read from the storage device, an average value between the value and the value of the pointer is obtained and the position document which the average value shows is displayed.
