Abstract:
To improve readout access performance to a snap shot volume.
When reading out actual data to a readout command to a snap shot volume 22, whether or not there are actual data which are used by the same snap shot volume 22 in the neighborhood of actual data as an object of readout is checked by a pool readout control means 28, and when there are the actual data, the readout range of disk readout is extended, and both the data are read out from the disk to a cache by one time disk readout processing. Thus, readout access performance to the snap shot volume is improved.
