Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize efficient data transfer and to prevent the parallel execution property of an application program from being damaged in the data transfer control method of a distributed common memory and a computer system.
SOLUTION: Locking control means 4 and 4' executing locking control when the respective computers 1 and 1' access distributed common virtual memories 3 and 3' in a page unit and data transfer means 6 and 6' transferring data between the computers which are required with the access of the computers 1 and 1' to the distributed common virtual memories 3 and 3' in a bulk page unit constituted of the prescribed number of pages containing a page which is access-requested are provided.
