Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform coating with silicon without using spraying.
SOLUTION: In this coating apparatus, a coating roller 6a immersed in liquid silicon is provided on the way of a running passage feeding a sheet (m) from a supply port 11 to a taking-up port 12 through a roller and the sheet (m) is passed on the coating roller 6a. At this time, the route allowing the sheet to pass the coating roller 6a to run in one direction from the upstream side thereof to the downstream side is set to a reference route and a secondary route is provided along with the reference route and this second route passes the sheet (m) from the downstream side of the coating roller 6a in the reference route to the upstream side and the sheet (m) passes the coating roller 6a to be again guided to the downstream side by direction converting rollers 8, 9, 10. By passing the sheet (m) through the secondary route, the surface opposite to the surface coated in the reference route can be coated without reversing the sheet (m) in the reference route.
