PURPOSE: To remove a burr completely in a short time by installing a mobile mechanism which moves a barrel tank relatively with a workpiece held on a workpiece rotary mechanism in a direction orthogonal with the traveling direction of the workpiece by a workpiece feeding mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A slider 14 is lowered by drive of a motor 15 and a workpiece W held by a chuck 18 is thrust in a compound being filled up in a barrel tank 8. Successively, a hydraulic cylinder 9a or 9b is operated and a pressure plate 11a or 11b is advanced forward, then the compound being filled up in the barrel tank 8 is pressurized into compression by dint of the specified pressure. In this state, the workpiece W is repeatedly rotated in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions by a motor 19 via the chuck 18 as shown in an arrow 25, while a table 3 is repeatedly moved left and right as shown in an arrow 26 by a motor 4 so as to make the workpiece W traverse the compound in the barrel tank 8, thus deburring is carried out.
