Abstract:

To provide a design method for non-irradiated bundle for core of a reactor.

The method for deciding the design of a non-irradiated fuel bundle for core of a reactor can contain a step (300) "for defining a plurality of inputs including user definition target conditions for evaluating one or more reference non-irradiated fuel bundle design for each of N bundle groups", and a step (400) "for producing a response surface based on a change of single rod type at each (i, j) rod position of the predetermined reference bundle design evaluated for each of N bundle groups". "A search algorithm is repeated, a predetermined combination of change of a plurality of rod types conducted simultaneously for each of N bundle groups is evaluated by utilizing the produced response surface and allowable fuel bundle design fulfilling the user definition target conditions for each of N bundle groups" (500) can be determined.
