Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a delay switch capable of turning off loads with a delay during operation of a switching element by enabling one load to be controlled from two places.
CONSTITUTION: When a make break contact S1 is closed with a changeover switch SW switched to a second contact (b), AC power is supplied to a fan 3. A delay circuit B turns a switching element Q1 on in response to the detection output of a current detection circuit 1, the switching element Q1 being connected in parallel to a series circuit of the primary side of the current transformer CT of the current detection circuit 1, a contact S2 and the fan 3. When the make break circuit S1 is opened, the current detection circuit 1 produces no detection output, but the delay circuit B holds the switching element Q1 in an ON state for a certain time using a timer circuit 5 and a conduction holding circuit 4. Therefore, operation of the fan 3 is stopped after a delay of the time. When the changerover switch SW is switched between the first contact (a) and the second contact (b) with the make break circuit S1 opened, the fan 3 can be turned on and off.
