Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a delay switch capable of controlling through the switching operation of one switching element a load to be operated with a delay and another load to be operated not with a delay but used simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: A switching element A is capable of turning two contacts S1, S2 on or off simultaneously, and when both of the contacts S1, S2 are closed AC power is supplied to an illumination load 2 and a ventilating fan 3. A delay circuit B turns a switching element Q1 on in response to the detection output of a current detection circuit 1, the switching element Q1 being connected in parallel to a series circuit of the primary side of the current transformer CT of the current detection circuit 1, the contact S2 and the ventilating fan 3. When the switching element A is turned off, the current detection circuit 1 produces no detection output, but the delay circuit B holds the switching element Q1 in an ON state for a certain time using a timer circuit 5 and a conduction holding circuit 4. Therefore, the illumination load 2 is immediately turned off, while operation of the ventilating fan 3 is stopped after a delay of the time.
