The deodorant sheet is composed of nonwoven fabric or paper stuck on one surface of both surface of an aldehyde deodorant film. For the aldehyde deodorant film, there is used a polyvinyl alcohol film containing a compound having an amino acid combination, urea combination, amide combination or imide combination having -NH- combination in its molecule. The manufacturing method of the polyvinyl alcohol film is done by a cast method from solution, a dry and wet method, a gel film making method, and the like. Employed in order to allow an aldehyde deodorant to be contained in the polyvinyl alcohol film are method of collective addition in an initiation period, addition to manufacturing raw liquid, and impregnation or application to the manufactured film.
