To inexpensively provide a resin molded product having fire retardancy capable of achieving the further enhancement of fire retardancy while keeping necessary physical properties as the resin molded product.
A resin molded product having fire retardancy is constituted of a core material 1 and a skin layer 2 both of which are composed of a base polymer of the same quality and the skin layer 2 contains a large quantity of a fire retardant with respect to the core material 1. By adding a large quantity of the fire retardant to the skin layer 2 largely contributing to the enhancement of the fire retardancy of the resin molded product, fire retardancy can be effectively enhanced. By reducing the content of the fire retardant in the core material 1 not very contributing to the enhancement of the fire retardancy of the resin molded product the lowering of physical properties caused by the addition of the fire retardancy is supressed caused by the addition of the fire retardancy to ensure physical properties (impact resistance or tensile strength) necessary as the resin molded product. The addition amt. of the fire retardancy as the whole of the resin molded product can be reduced by the reducing quantity of the fire retardancy in the core material to achieve cost reduction.
