A design management server 40 stores configuration relation management data, corresponding drawing management data, and corresponding document management data. The design management server 40, on receiving a configuration relation display request including a thumb-nail ID from a user terminal 10, extracts the corresponding drawing ID, and specifies an element ID based on the drawing ID. The design management server 40 specifies an element ID having parentage with the element using the configuration relation management data, and transmits the drawing ID corresponding to the specified element ID to the user terminal 10. The design management server 40 further specifies a document ID from the corresponding document management data based on the element ID, and transmits it to the user terminal 10. The user terminal 10, on receiving this, outputs the drawing ID and document ID to a configuration relation display screen of a display section 12.
