Abstract:
To detect a conveyance jitter caused by a slippage or the like between amedium conveyance roller and a medium in a medium conveyance type recording device.
In the medium conveyance type recording device for rewriting/writing a signal in a medium while conveying a medium along a conveyance path, the position of the medium on the conveyance path is measured, thereby determining the presence/absence of at least one of conveyance jitter included in a signal written in the medium and conveyance jitter included in a signal read from the medium, based on the measurement result of the measuring means.
