Abstract:
To provide an industrially advantageous desilylation method for silyl ethers.
The invention relates to the method for desilylation of the silyl ethers characterized by treating the silyl ethers with an alkyl substituted imidazolium salt containing a fluoride ion represented by formula (1), and water. (In the formula, R1 and R3 are each the same or different a (substituted)alkyl group, R2, R4 and R5 are each the same or different H or a (substituted)alkyl group. Y- is a monovalent anion excluding the fluoride ion. And x satisfies following relation: 0<x≤1).
