Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to detect a residual amount of metal balls in a ball storing case.
SOLUTION: In this method, a metal ball 3 is stored in a ball storing case 1, and the residual amount of the metal balls 3 that are jumping in the ball storing case 1 is detected. Under low luminous energy condition, in which the luminous energy in the ball storing case 1 is reduced with respect to the outside, a ball jumping region 10 is observed. Then, the residual amount is detected by the color intensity at the ball jumping region 10.
