Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a position of heat seal of a plastic film by receiving reflection or transmission light of the plastic film irradiated with light, and reading the mark of mesh seal according to the waveform drawn by the amount of received light.
SOLUTION: Light is emitted from a light source 4 in an upper and a lower side of a plastic film 1, and an optical sensor 5 receives the reflection light of the film 1. When the film 1 runs in its length direction X and a heat seal portion 2 reaches the position where the source 4 and the sensor 5 are provided. an electronic shutter operates instantaneously, and the sensor 5 receives the reflection of transmission light of the heat seal portion 2, thereby enabling the detection of heat seal position of the film 1. Since there is a mesh seal mark 3 in the portion 2, when the sensor 5 receives the reflection or transmission light thereof, the amount of receiving light varies by the mark of seal 3 so that a waveform is drawn. Accordingly, by reading it, the heat seal position can be detected.
