Title:
DETECTION METHOD OF MINUTE FLAW IN TRANSPARENT OBJECT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2769797
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a detection method in which a minute bubble at the inside of a transparent object or a minute inside foreign body which has been stuck to its surface can be detected automatically, at a high speed and with good accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: A transparent object such as a glass bottle 1 or the like is irradiated with a converged laser beam 4. The laser beam which has been incident from one face 5 of the transparent object is reflected by the other face 9, and it is radiated again from one face. A region which contains a part from the incident point (a) up to the radiant point (b) of time laser beam 4 is imaged by a camera 7. Reflected images C, D between a reflected image A by the incident point (a) and a reflected image B by the radiant point (b) are detected regarding its image. The existence of a minute flaw is judged on the basis of the detected reflected images C, D.
