Abstract:
To provide a system, a device, a method and a program for detecting a fall by which, every time a vehicle stops, detection areas responding to various conditions of the vehicle and platform can be set by means of simple constitutions and a falling person is adequately detected.SOLUTION: A fall detection system 100 comprises: detection sensors 20 which are installed in a station platform, scan, with laser beams, scan areas SA each in a range of a predetermined angle θ and detect scanning angles and distances to reach objects; a vehicle state determination part 114 determining whether vehicles 200 stop at a station or not based on the above-mentioned scanning angles and the above-mentioned distances; a detection area setting part 115 setting a detection area DA1 based on the scanning angles and the distances which are detected during stopping of the vehicles 200 at the station in the case it is determined that the vehicles 200 stop at the station; and a fall detection part 116 detecting a falling person in the detection area DA1 based on the scanning angle and the distance detected in the detection area DA1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
