Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller which has satisfactory leak resistance and provides a high quality image which is free from image failure caused by a set trace.
SOLUTION: In the roller having at least one or more semiconductive layers around a core shaft, the value of the total of currents flowing when a voltage of 10 V is applied to an arbitrarily selected area of 5 μm square of the external circumferential surface of the roller is set to 1.0×10 to 1.0×104 nA.
