PURPOSE: To lessen the fluctuation in the performance of a developing soln. by long-term use by subjecting an internal latent image type direct positive photosensitive material and negative type photosensitive material which are reduced in the particle distribution of silver halide particles to a development processing in the same development processing bath.
CONSTITUTION: The internal latent image type direct positive silver halide photographic sensitive material and negative type silver halide photographic sensitive material, both of which have at least one layer of the layers contg. the monodisperse silver halide particles, are used at the time of processing the internal latent image type direct positive photosensitive material and negative type photosensitive material by the common developing soln. The negative type photosensitive material signifies a color photographic paper, color reversal film and color reversal paper. The processing stage to be used is preferably a color development processing as a developing stage. The fluctuation in the performance of the developing soln. by the long-term use is lessened in this way.
