Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the consumption unit of fuel by accurately controlling the temp. of at least one piece of slab after passing a fixed time from the present along a target temp. raising pattern.
CONSTITUTION: An actual temp. calculating means 5 is started in the fixed time interval to calculate the actual temp. in each slab and a slab temp. future value calculating means 7 calculates the future temp. in each slab in the case of holding the present furnace temp. A slab temp. future target value calculating means 6 calculates the slab future target temp. in a heating furnace 1 in each slab, and an influence factor calculating means 8 calculates the influence factor between the variating rate of future temp. and the variating rate of the slab temp. in the case of varying the furnace temp. setting value is each heating zone by the unit quantity based on the slab actual temp. and the present furnace temp. A furnace temp. setting value calculating means 9 calculates the furnace temp. setting value minimizing the total sum of the sum of weighting squares of temp. deviations of at least one piece of the slab future temp. in all at each control time after passing a prescribed future time since the present and the sum of weighting squares of temp. deviations of the furnace temp. variating rate in whole each control time after a prescribed future since the present.
