Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the inverted postures of carrots, facilitate the forward release of cut root parts and further treat the unnecessary cut leaf parts in a carrot harvester using two rotary disks.
SOLUTION: Two elastic belts 85 capable of being elastically deformed in the thickness direction are arranged parallel to each other between pulleys 83, 84. The inside travel parts of the two elastic belts 85 are closely brought into contact with each other. Carrot leaf parts cut off with a pair of cutters are nipped between the inside travel parts of the two elastic belts 85, carried to the front part of the self-propelled carriage device A, and subsequently released from the part.
