To suppress the influence due to external magnetic field, as much as possible, while realizing size reduction of a noncontact-type liquid level detecting device.
The noncontact-type liquid level detecting device comprises the axis support part 4A, provided on one side of the body frame 4 for axially supporting the holder 5; a first small-diameter support axis part 4a1 and the large-diameter second support axis 4a2 are provided coaxially contentrically with the first axis part 4a1; a hollow space 4B made of a concave space from the other side surface of the body frame 4 in a part of the axis support 4A; a detector element 9 arranged inside the space part 4B; a circuit board 10 arranged along the other side of the body 4; and a magnetic shielding member 13, arranged to fixedly hold so as to surround around the circuit substrate 10 and the magnet 8, from the other side of the body frame 4 to the body frame 4 side.
