Abstract:
To provide a device for diagnosing insulation capable of monitoring easily the fouled state of an insulator in an electrical apparatus.
This device is characterized by comprising a direct-current power source part 2 for generating a direct-current voltage; an insulation resistance measuring part 3 for measuring a change with time of the insulation resistance by applying the direct-current voltage to the insulator; and a fouled state determination part 4 for calculating the changing ratio of the insulation resistance following elapse of time from the change with time of the insulation resistance, and determining the fouled state of the insulator.
