PURPOSE: To provide a liquid draining device capable of efficiently wringing a treating liquid carried over in accompaniment with a strip at the time the strip is ejected upward from the treating liquid, such as plating liquid in a process line for continuously treating the strip, such as continuous electroplating equipment for steel strips even when the treating speed is increased and to make the line formed by adopting the device compact.

CONSTITUTION: This liquid draining device is provided with wringer rolls 21 to 23 holding the strip 1 therebetween in an array form in odd stages of ≥3 stages per side in alternate contact with each other in a direction parting from the strip 1. As a result, the adoption of the small-diameter wringer rolls is possible and, therefore, the high-speed line which has an excellent liquid draining effect and is compact in a height direction is realized. More particularly, the spacings between electrodes and conductor rolls are shortened in the plating line and, therefore, the efficiency of electric power for electrolysis is good.
