To easily get a wheelchair on and off a vehicle by projecting a slope plate stored in the floor part to the outside of a vehicle to be substantially flush with the upper surface of the floor part by a first driving means, and inclining the floor part downward in the projecting direction of the slope plate by a second driving means.
Normally, for example, during running of a vehicle, a slope plate 7 is stored in a case 5 to be made flush with the floor surface 3 of the floor part 4. In getting a wheelchair on and off a vehicle, take-up shafts 8, 9 are normally rotated through a worm, a pinion mechanism 11 and a cable 12 by the operation of a motor 10, and with the displacement of the cable 12, the slope plate 7 is projected to the outside of the vehicle along slide groove. After that, a cable or a chain 15 is guided by each pulley 14 to be displaced by the drive of each hydraulic cylinder 13, so that the case 5 is turned downward on each pin 16 by its dead load, and the rear end of the slope plate 7 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the foot walk or the ground 21 to form a slope by the floor surface 3 of the floor part 4 and the slope plate 7.
