To provide a rear bumper device at a vehicle with a load deck elevating device formed at a body rear part, to prevent an adverse effect on the load deck elevating device by a collision, and to prevent the rear bumper device retreated to the ground side so as not to interfere the operation of the load deck elevating device, from being deformed or damaged by interference with ground.
This rear bumper device 6 is provided with a rear bumper 23 at a rotatable holding arm 22. The rear bumper 23 is suspended with a chain 32 from a link mechanism 14 for elevating a load deck 15, and is allowed to turn between a protruding position and a retreating position through the folding arm 22 together with turning of the link mechanism 14, allowing the rear bumper 23 at the protruding position to abut to a receiving member 35 mounted on a body 2 side.
