Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the tree search processing time, and to preferentially obtain a solution of a three-dimensional model which seems to be natural to a may by using a specific reference at the time of executing a combination search of the face for eliminating a false element which is not concerned in the solution.
CONSTITUTION: From two-dimensional graphic element data of two faces or more drawn by an orthogonal projection method, a three-dimensional candidate element containing the candidate face is restored, and each of the restored candidate faces is discriminated between the real face existing in three-dimensional models A-C and the false face which does not exist in the three-dimensional models A-C. In this case, a first reference consisting of a reference for deciding whether the candidate face to be discriminated is real or false and a guide for putting its use order and a second reference consisting of priority at the time of tree search branch for executing preferentially a natural one which a man is apt to think in the case there are plural correct solutions are set in advance. By applying a first reference and a second reference in each candidate face, the real/false discrimination is executed, and when the real/false discrimination is finished with regard to all the candidate faces, an obtained three- dimensional model A is outputted.
