PURPOSE: To facilitate to automate tire forming and permit to improve the productivity thereof by a method wherein a bead supplying device, supplying the bead of headstock side, is provided at the green tire forming device side of the band transferring device.

CONSTITUTION: The band transferring device Ea is constituted by a constitution wherein a truck Ea2 equipped with a band gripping means Ea1 is provided movably between respective forming drums 201 of the band forming device 100 and the green tire forming device 200. The bead supplying device Eb, equipped with a bead delivery means as well as a means to expand or contract the bead delivery means into the radial directions thereof, is attached to the green tire forming device side of the band transferring device Ea. In case the band, formed by the band forming device 100, is transferred to the tire forming drum 201 of the green tire forming device 200, the bead at the headstock 202 side may be supplied automatically to a predetermined position simultaneously.
