DEWATERING METHOD FOR MUDDY SOIL AND DRAINAGE MATERIAL FOR DEWATERING

PURPOSE: To increase efficiency of dewatering treatment by overflowing turbid water of the upper layer of muddy soil to a spillover treatment basin and performing solid-liquid separation by filtration and settlement and using a drain material having a hollow part in the inside as a drainage material and applying dewatering treatment to muddy soil of the lower layer which remains in the treatment basin of muddy soil.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of performing dewatering treatment of muddy soil in a treatment basin 3 thereof, muddy soil 4 is charged into the treatment basin 3 and turbid water 16 of the upper layer of muddy soil is introduced from an overflow weir 9 to a spillover treatment basin 10. Turbid water 16 in the spillover treatment basin 10 successively permeates filter materials 14-1, 16-2 and is successively moved through sections 15-1, 15-2, 15-3. In the meantime, turbid water is filtrated through the filter materials in the respective sections and filtrated material is settled or collected. Settlement is advanced in a water layer and separation of solid and liquid is advanced. The supernatant liquid of the final precipitation section 15-3 is discharged from an overflow weir 9' to the outside of the system. Muddy soil 4 of the lower layer from which turbid water has been removed remains in the treatment basin 3 and is dewatered by a hollow drain material 11 and drain is discharged to the outside of the system through a drainage layer 2 of the bottom part.
