Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly cope with the model change of a fence by folding an end portion or an intermediate portion of a welded wire net to be used for the fence in various polygonal shapes.
SOLUTION: In a device and a method for folding a welded wire net, an end portion or an intermediate portion of a welded wire net is folded in various polygonal shapes by a die comprising a gooseneck-shaped upper die 3 and a lower die 4 provided with a die 5 having a longitudinal V-shaped groove 7, and is provided with notches 8, 9 where the upper and lower dies are not interfered with each other for each pitch of longitudinal wires of the wire net, or a die provided with a spring means between the lower die 4 and the die 5.
