Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a dielectric layer high in withstand voltage and also excellent in transparency by incorporating a glass powder and oxide ceramic particulate having a specified composition and using the ceramic particulate having a max. grain size less than a specified value.
SOLUTION: A dielectric body forming material is incorporated with 90-99.9% glass powder and 0.1-10% oxide ceramic particulate by wt.%. The glass powder has a yield point of ≥430°C and a softening point of ≤580°C preferably. The composition of such a glass is, for example, 50-75% PbO, 2-30% B2O3, 2-35% SiO2, 0-20% ZnO by wt.%. The oxide ceramic particulate having the max. grain size of ≤100 nm is used. Moreover, the powder having ≤50 nm average grain size and 50-400 m2/g specific surface area is preferable. Alumina, silica, titanium oxide, zirconium oxide, etc., are used as the material of the ceramic particulate.
