Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrain abnormal growth of crystal in a dielectric ceramic by increasing the dielectric constant and enhancing the dielectric strength of the dielectric ceramic.
CONSTITUTION: The dielectric ceramic body 12 of a ceramic capacitor 10 has a composition of 100 pts.wt. of basic component, i.e. (BaαCaβErγOκ), 0.05-0.50 pts.wt. of MnO, and 0.05-1.00 pts.wt. of rare earth oxide (Nd2O3, Sm2O3, Gd2O3, La2O3, Y2O3, Ce2O3, Yb2O3, Ho2O3, Dy2O3).
