This invention relates to a diesel exhaust gas cleaning filter having mutually adjoining gas flow passages therein. A gas flow passage includes at least one bend part bending in relation to a progress direction of exhaust gas and a wall surface of the gas flow passage consists of metal including a plurality of pores. This filter is formed by applying herring bone shape on a surface of a metal flat plate grid 10 and forming the same to have a wave shape section, and winding the metal grid 10 after the process. The exhaust gas cleaning filter become more effective by winding the metal grid 10 after the processing after piling the flat plate metal grid 20 and a metal flat plate 30.
