Abstract:
To give redundancy to a device and a method for engine start control.
In an engine start control device 1 provided with an electric power source control unit 2 including an IGN power source relay 14 and CPU 11 controlling the IGN power source relay 14, and a smart entry control unit 3 communicating with a portable unit 16 and certificating the portable unit 16 and performing engine start control, an IGN power source relay control drive line A not going through CPU 11 is provided between the smart entry control unit 3 and the IGN power source relay 14.
