Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a digital angle output which has small influence of cable length, temperature variation, etc., by using a phase signal consisting of a composite resolver signal composed of a sin-side 1st resolver signal and a phase- shifted resolver signal generated by shifting the phase of a cos-side 2nd resolver signal by 90°
CONSTITUTION: A waveform shaper 23 shapes the waveform of a phase signal sinθ.sin(ωt-90°-θ) as the composite resolver signal obtained by putting the 1st resolver signal sinθ.sinωt of a resolver 2 and the phase-shifted resolver signal cosθ.sin(ωt-90°), obtained by shifting the phase of the 2nd resolver signal cosθ.sinωt by 90° through a phase shifting circuit 31, together through an adder subtracter 22, and inputs the waveform-shaped signal as sampling pulses to a latch circuit 24. Then the phase count signal 21a outputted from a phase counter 21 is latched by a latch circuit 24 with the inputted sampling pulses and outputted as a digital angle output &phiv through an output buffer circuit 40. Therefore, the stable digital angle output is obtained.
