A function icon for reserving the next time broadcasting program is displayed on the screen of an image display device while reproducing a broadcasting program or a key for reserving the next time broadcasting program is provided on a remote controller and the reproduction/recording of the next time broadcasting program are reserved by using it. By activating a next time broadcasting program reservation function while reproducing the broadcasting program, the reproduction/recording reservation of the next time broadcasting portion of the program while being viewed or the program scheduled to be re-broadcasted is immediately set. The figure is the constitution example of the screen for displaying 32 a next time broadcasting/re-broadcasting program name and confirming the execution of the reservation. When a button 33 is selected and inputted, the reproduction/recording reservation setting processing of the selected program is executed.
