Title:
VIDEO SIGNAL CONVERTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10200864
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make an NTSC system reproduced video signal high in picture quality and to receive it by a high-vision system image receiver.

A reproducing device performs reproduction at a reference clock frequency fck2=27.027MHz. A signal supplied to an NTSC encoder 75 of this reproducing device is supplied to a converting circuit 2 for Yn, Pb, and Pr signals through a separating circuit 1 for Y, U, and V signals. Further, the converted signal is supplied to a pixel number guadruplicating circuit 3 and this signal is supplied to a vertical expanding filter 4 which converts 960 lines to 1035 lines and converted to, for example, 1035 lines as the number of effective lines of the high-vision system. Further, the signal from this vertical expanding filter 4 is supplied to a synchronous composing circuit 5 to put respective specific synchronizing signals together, and the composite high-vision system signal is outputted through a 3-channel D/A converting circuit 6, a low-pass filter 7, and a buffer circuit 8.
