Title:
TELEVISION CAMERA SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10200863
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a television camera system which varies the speed of the electronic shutter of a television camera, field by field, makes it possible to observe a sharp, easy-to-see image having a flicker phenomenon reduced even when picked-up video is observed on the screen of a video monitor, and reduces the fatigue of the eyes of an observer.

This system has an interlacing system television camera equipped with an electronic shutter function capable of picking up images of a subject while varying the shutter speed repeatedly by fields, a scanning converting device 2 equipped with a one-frame memory part which converts an interlaced system video signal into a noninterlaced system video signal, and a noninterlaced system video monitor 10 which displays video of the noninterlaced system video signal and reduces a flicker phenomenon of the video by converting the interlaced system video signal obtained by picking up images of the subject while repeatedly varying the shutter speed by fields into the noninterlaced system video signal.
