Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital signage system capable of transmitting a promotional advertisement to the unspecified large number of consumers when the need of peripheral information occurs and acquiring an advertisement effect equivalent to a downloaded trial version when performing the promotional advertisement of application software for displaying the peripheral information of a prescribed place in real time on the basis of position information of a terminal device.SOLUTION: A digital signage system includes signage terminals 1 provided with image display means 11 to be installed at a prescribed place for performing a promotional advertisement, control means for executing application software allocated to the signage terminals 1, and an application server 4 for providing the control means with peripheral information of a prescribed place in real time on the basis of position information of a place at which the signage terminal 1 is installed or position information allocated to the signage terminal 1. The control means displays an active image of the application software in the image display means 11 of the signage terminal 1 to perform the promotional advertisement.
