Abstract:
To provide a digital still camera capable of manual focus adjustment comparatively easily even in a dark place.
In the digital still camera, manual focus adjustment is set (S31), and when a brightness value of a subject is less than the threshold (S32), an amplification rate of an amplifying circuit is made a higher amplification rate for display than normal amplification rate (S33). An image signal amplified at a high amplification rate is provided to a liquid crystal display device of the camera. On the display device, a bright image of the subject is displayed. As the image of the subject is made easy to see, manual correction can be made easily.
