Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for estimating the state of progress of disconnection that can accurately estimate the state of progress of disconnection of a conductor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for estimating the state of progress of disconnection of a conductor 11a in a cable 10 having the conductor 11a made of a twisted wire conductor as a collection of twisted strands, and the method includes: measuring the resistance value of a conductor 11a, which changes in time sequence according to a predetermined action when the action is repeatedly applied on the cable 10; determining the maximum value, the minimum value, and the average value of the resistance value in the time-series change of the resistance value of the conductor 11a at each measurement section divided at a time interval of at least the time required for the action; and estimating the state of progress of the disconnection of the conductor 11a on the basis of the standardized resistance value change width obtained by the formula, [the standardized resistance value change width=(the maximum value-the minimum value)/the average value].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
