To provide a method for simultaneously and easily discriminating a plurality of microorganisms constituting a micropopulation, an apparatus therefor and a program for discriminating microorganisms.
The X-axis means the band intensity of microorganisms as samples, while the Y-axis represents the band intensity of the microorganism described in the data base. Among the bands (plots) arranged in the correlation diagram, the Y coordinate of the plot having the maximum band intensity of the sample microorganism is defined as A. In the meantime, among the bands (plots) arranged in the correlation diagrams, the X coordinate of the plot having the maximum band intensity of the sample microorganism is defined as B. The area satisfying X≥0, Y≤A and Y≥(A/B)X is defined as V. The number of the bands standing in the area V is represented by m. In the area V, the number of the bands on the area other than the Y-axis is defined as P. Thus, the rate of concordance rate c1 of the bands can be calculated through the formula: c1=P/m.
