Abstract:

To provide a highly safe disinfectant compound which has disinfecting power comparable to that of a conventional product and can be easily handled.

The disinfectant compound comprises a compound which is an alkyl ether-modified product of a hydroxyalkyl imidazole compound and is obtained through etherification by an alkyl group having 4 or more carbons. Preferably, the alkyl group in the compound has 4-12 carbons.
