To provide a highly effective oral inhibitor of snore, one of sleep disorders classified as an abnormal sleep behavior during sleeping defined as an abnormal breathing sound generated during sleeping and causing decreased quality of life (QOL), frequently generated snores are considered to decrease quality of usual sleep leading to daytime sleepiness and delayed soothing effect on fatigue and recently, the snore is generally considered as a symptom of sleep apnea syndromes and further an initial stage of sleep apnea syndromes even not exagerated to apnea.

The snore inhibitor or alleviating agent is characterized by a combination preparation of suan zao ren tang. The combination preparation is preferably blended with suan zao ren or seed of Zizyphus jujuba, zhi mu or rhizome of Anemarrhena asphodeloides, chuan xiong or rhizome of Cnidium officinale, fu ling or fungus of Poria cocos and gan cao or root of Glycyrrhiza glabra.
